How to do a legalization at the Saudi Arabia embassy ?


EXPORT DOCUMENTS (COMMERCIAL SHIPMENTS ONLY)

1. Documents that are related to goods being shipped to Saudi Arabia are required to be attested by a local Canadian chamber of commerce or board of trade. This office only legalizes documents pertaining to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
2. An export information sheet, E.I.S.,(form provided) must be completed fully and accurately, signed and stamped by the company preparing the form.
3. Documents that are required for any shipment to Saudi Arabia are not determined by the consular section, however every set of commercial documents for authentication must include at least a commercial invoice and a certificate of origin.
4. Covering letter revealing the nature of the documents and requesting the authentication.
5. Documents that are required to be authenticated must be arranged and labeled.
6. Copies of all documents are required for the consular section and must be presented attached to the completed EIS.


LEGALIZATION OF PET DOCUMENTS

 

Please note that only domestic cats and certain breeds of dogs (used in hunting, guarding and guiding) are allowed entry into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Exotic and non-domestic pets as well as dangerous and aggressive dogs such as theRotweiler or the Pitbull are strictly prohibited from entering the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 

 

Documents required ​

 

  1. Breed Certificate: A certificate pertaining to the details of the birth, breed and ownership of the pet must be prepared and signed by your veterinarian.
  2. 2. Health certificate:  Your veterinarian must provide you with a health certificate for the pet, indicating that it has no communicable diseases or viruses and clearly indicating the vaccination against rabies and all up-to-date inoculations. 
  3. Both the breed certificate and the health certificate must be first stamped by a notary than by Canada Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade before being submitted to the Embassy of Saudi Arabia. 
  4. Legalization form: Complete the legalization form, signed and dated. (See below)
  5. Sponsor residency: A copy of the owner’s residency (IQAMA)
  6. One copy of each document to be stamped attached to the legalization form 
  7. All documents to be authenticated must be clearly arranged and labeled


LEGALIZATION OF OTHER DOCUMENTS

 

Documents of a corporate or personal nature including business deals, Patent registrations or applications, power of attorney (please include copies of passports if it is a personal power of attorney), Birth/Marriage Certificates(Please include copies of passports), pharmaceutical certificates, registration statements and declarations

Degrees, school records, letters of experience, medical reports, school and university registration letters etc. (please include proof of residency in the Kingdom, i.e. a copy of a work contract, OR a copy of your visa in the Kingdom, OR a copy of IQAMA, etc.)

 

 

Documents required:​


  1. All documents must be first stamped by a notary than by the Canadian Legal Division of the Deparment of Foreign Affairs and International Trade before being submitted to the Embassy of Saudi Arabia
  2. One copy of each document to be stamped attached to the legalization form.
  3. All documents to be authenticated must be clearly arranged and labeled.



SAUDI DRIVER'S LICENSE

The Embassy will only stamp a certified translation of your Saudi Driver's license or a print out from the authorities in Saudi Arabia ( if the date of issue is not mentioned on the driver's license). We cannot provide a letter or any documentation if the name or date of birth is incorrect on the driver's license.

Note :
The Legalization department only legalizes documents pertaining to Saudi Arabia, and issued in the host country Canada.
The Consular section reserves the right to refuse the legalization of any documents based on the Saudi government rules and regulations


Documents required :

  1. The legalization form filed and signed. (See below)
  2. All documents requires to be authentcated at a notary.
  3. All documents must be stamped by the Legal Divsion of the canadan Mnistry of Foreign Affairs (DFAIT).
  4. One copy of each document needs to be stamped.
